To come to a postnatal class with your baby and to our mum and baby yoga classes is an opportunity to spend valuable time together, to create a rhythm in your daily routine and to establish lasting connections with other mums and babies.

Our focus is on the pelvic floor and on gently strengthening the belly and back muscles. For overall well-being, we ease tension in the neck and shoulders through movement and stretching. We work on the feet and legs for stability.

We gradually realign the skeletal system.The babies are integrated in the class, so as to encourage bonding. For this, we use elements of baby yoga. We encourage innate movements of the baby, show safe holds and the use sound and singing to stimulate all senses. This helps your baby with digestion and sleep pattern and builds up your self-confidence as a mother.
 

  • Attendance as of 6 weeks from birth (8 weeks if you had a c-section) up to roughly 7-9 months. 
  • Postnatal exercises are essential for your current well-being but also later in life to avoid incontinence, especially in case of further pregnancies. We recommend attending the postnatal over several months (up to 9 months) before engaging in more dynamic activities. This will allow your body to realign safely, without violence.
  • You are welcome to breastfeed before, during and after class. 
  • We offer daily open classes. 

 

What to bring

  • Bring a towel to lay your baby on. You are welcome to feed your baby during class if you need to.
  • If you need to bring a buggy, please park it on the ground floor close to the entrance.
